08:30 AM – Churros & Coffee at Bar Marta
I kicked off my day with a simple but satisfying breakfast at Bar Marta. Fresh churros and a cup of café con leche = fuel for the adventure ahead. here is the Google Maps location of Churros Bar Marta for you save for later visit.
10:00 AM – Patios de Córdoba
One of Córdoba’s signature sights—the flower-covered patios. Even outside of festival season, you’ll find stunning courtyards and alleys filled with color.
10:30 AM – Iglesia de San Pablo
A peaceful quick stop. This small, pastel-toned church is lovely from the outside and rarely crowded.
11:00 AM – Palacio de Viana
One of the unexpected highlights of my day! I spent about 1 to 1.5 hours exploring the lush inner patios and the small museum inside Palacio de Viana.
The gardens are incredibly peaceful, each with its own design and history, and the museum gives you a glimpse into aristocratic life in Córdoba. It’s not overly crowded, which made it even better.
🌿 Highly recommend if you love photography, flowers, or just slow cultural strolls.👉 Get tickets or guided tour options here
13:00 PM – Plaza de la Corredera
Took a short break in this spacious square. Think of it like Córdoba’s chill zone: locals sipping drinks, kids playing, and zero rush. Perfect spot to recharge.
13:30 PM – Mosque–Cathedral of Córdoba
Even if you don’t go inside (like me), standing in front of the Mezquita-Catedral is a moment. The mix of Islamic and Christian architecture is iconic from every angle. But if you want to get inside, make sure to book the ticket in advance.
14:00 PM – Lunch at Mercado Victoria
This gourmet market is a gem. I grabbed a few tapas and fresh juice, and people-watched in the shade. Affordable and packed with options!
15:30 PM – Shopping Around Córdoba Centro
From little souvenir shops to boutique finds, Córdoba’s commercial center is walkable and full of local charm. Great spot to pick up something handmade or regional.
16:30 PM – Casa de las Cabezas (From the Gate)
This place caught my eye, but I only managed to peek through the gate. I'm not sure if it was temporarily close or not.

17:00 PM – Calleja de las Flores
One of the most photogenic spots in the city. A narrow alley framed by flower pots and the Mezquita tower in the distance—don’t miss this one.
17:30 PM – Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos
This historic site offers palm-lined gardens, water features, and beautiful pathways. I didn’t explore the full interiors, but even just the outer areas were worth it.
*Please note until December 2025: it will be close every Monday.
19:00 PM – Slow Afternoon on the Roman Bridge
Hands down, my favorite moment of the day. Golden light, river views, and the city behind me—it’s the perfect spot to end your Córdoba walk.
19:30 PM – Back to Granada
I took the evening train back to Granada with a full camera roll, happy feet, and even happier memories.👉 Check train schedules & book your tickets in advance
